This season has been one that has had the most exceptional circumstances ever known in the sport. Firstly with the bad weather and then the COVID 19 pandemic which has had a major effect on our league fixtures, the country and sport worldwide.
The finishing of our league seems so incidental on the large scale of things however it needs to be finalised so that we can move on to the next season. I must also applaud you all for the challenges over social media that I have seen of the women and girls teams being engaged by their club coaches you have gone above and beyond to ensure that the health and wellbeing of your players are as important to you as your families, we all Thank You for this.
The FAW Board ... agreed that to determine final league standings will be via the points per game method across all levels of football, which includes junior and youth.
To determine final league standings: The number of points gained in the 2019/20 League table, is divided by the number of matches played in the 2019/20 League table, to determine a Points Per Game (PPG) total for every Club. Where two or more Clubs are on the same PPG total, the same methodology is applied for Goal Difference and so on, but this should be in accordance with the respective League Rules of how clubs with the equal number of points are separated.

The results for future records will show that the league standings for season 2019/20 will be recorded on the PPG guidelines from the FAW. The league has also due to the circumstances of social distancing voted that there will be no mementoes given to winners or runners up for this season.
Please stay safe and we look forward to the future and a new season in 20/21
